STEPs - Steps to Ensure Planet Sustainability is an ERASMUS KA2 european project with the participation of four schools. Its main objectives are to make our students aware of their environment and climate change.
Teachers and school community have to take social and environmental responsibility.
We want our students to become aware of environmental issues. We also want to raise their parents' and local community
awareness about the importance to take care of our planet
Earth. It's our duty to encourage young people to behave responsibly and to be proactive. Not only our students but also everyone who is part of our school community should understand how important the planned activities are.

One of the headlines to the acitvities of this project  is: reduce, reuse and recycle. Not only our students but all people belonging to our school environment should understand how important the activities are.
We want to have closer looks on the environment of our schools and find out what (visible)
environmental problems there are. In different subjects like science, social studies, geography,
nutrition, technology, computer science and in different school clubs pupils learn how to investigate
environmental problems, to evaluate the results, to draw conclusions and start actions to improve the located problems. Theoretical and practical approaches are initiated in the lessons. The following methods and approaches are mentioned here as examples of our project work: Interwiews, discussions, experiments, evaluation of results, graphical representations, use of digital tools, presentation techniques, communication in the foreign language English.
To reduce our ecological footprint, of our schools, of our community it is a big challenge that has to be started. We know that there can be different emphasises in every country. In our planning we think about working on the following topics: life under water - climate change - stop waste - recycling and waste disposal
