1- Raise awareness of the problem ( investigating, reading…) and monitor marine litter.
2- Clean the beach once a month. 3- Interview fishermen, register what comes in the fishing nets and work collaboratively to clean the ocean, fishermen will be the guardians of "our" beach, Fonte da Telha. 4- Measure our ecological footprint with a calculator designed by ZERO, Global Footprint Network and Universidade de Aveiro. 5- Visit Sado river in a specific boat with a glass floor and be a biologist for a day registering species and litter in the river. 6- "Plastic in the ocean": a session with a former student of Carlos Gargaté school who developed materials and investigated the subject. 7- Send the plastic taken from the ocean, in Portugal, to Zouri company to produce shoes. 8- Produce wooden boards with messages to be set on the beach in order to encourage people to be involved in the problem. 9- Produce posters with information and awareness raising for the litter problem in our ocean. 10 - Analyze the water quality in a river close to the school. |
