We participated in the christmas market in Backnang with a market stall from our school.
There we sold selfmade products. One part of the profit will be for the final journey and another part will be for children who don´t have enough money to take part in school activities. We participated in the Christmas Market in Almada, with a workshop on how to reuse waste. People showed interest and we had visits of some schools.Activity: Monitor food waste in the canteens of the Cluster of schools and draw up an action plan to reduce it. Activity: Students are making Christmas decorations for the Christmas market.
Waste used: wood, tree sticks, pine cones, cork, wire, card, buttons, napkins, fabrics and Christmas old decorations. Raw material present in the waste used: wood, cork, steel, pine cones, petroleum, wool, silk, linen, ramie, cotton, cellulose, polyamide and elastane. Our step was: We used raw materials present in these waste to create other products, avoiding extraction of those ones. Activity: Students from primary school Louro Artur celebrated Halloween. This activity was to make a cup out of a toilet paper roll.
Waste used: toilet paper roll, toilet paper, musgami ( rubber sheet also known as EVA) leftovers, napkins and nails. Raw material present in the waste used: wood, steel . Our step was: We used raw materials present in these waste to create other products, avoiding extraction of those ones. Activity: Students from primary school Louro Artur did some art work on the topic Autumn.
